Before treatment, our patient endured periodontal conditions that compromised his teeth over the years. Like many of our patients, he also suffered from bruxism, commonly known as tooth clenching and grinding. Bruxism can create many dental issues; fillings are broken, the outer layers of teeth are ground down, roots become loose, and receding gums occur over time. This patient had already lost several teeth before deciding to become a denture candidate.
